• Buy Gas for Less: Many gas stations offer rewards programs or a warehouse club that offers their own gas. These programs typically discount the price of a gallon of gas which can quickly add up, saving up a significant chunk of change every time you fuel up. It is also tempting to try and find the cheapest gas around, but instead of traipsing all around town, wasting gas, try utilizing an app that tracks local gas prices to help you find the cheapest gas prices on your route!
• Keep up with Routine Maintenance: The health of your engine can severely impact your Chevrolet’s fuel economy. If your Chevrolet is having to work harder to make it to your destination because things under the hood aren’t working properly, it can start sucking up more gas to get there. By ensuring you are keeping up with things like oil changes and tune-ups, your Chevrolet’s fuel economy should stabilize.
• Monitor Tire Pressure: Your tires are the only point of contact your Chevrolet model has with the road and it is important that they are properly inflated for not only your safety but also for fuel-efficiency. If your tires are even just a little under-inflated, your Chevrolet will start using more gas than before.
